Internship : Setup a software sandbox in a self-driving vehicle

Job Description

As part of this internship, you will take part to cybersecurity increase of EasyMile’s self-driving vehicles through the development of a sandbox for the various driving, display, communication... software.

This internship will be split into two main parts:

  • Study of the existing system architecture and definition of the security goals
  • Assess the existing sandboxing solutions such as Linux namespaces, hardware virtualization, ACRN, SELinux and development of a prototype able to run in existing vehicles.

As part of this work, you will analyze the impact of your solution on the security goals, computing resources and deployment workflow. from multiple autonomous platform

Preferred Experience

You come from a cyber-security background or can demonstrate a good awareness of the cybersecurity issues.
You master Linux with a good knowledge of syscalls and virtualization technologies.
You are comfortable with Python and C.
Experience in embedded systems is a bonus.
You are fluent in written English.
