Internship: Technical Translator - Berlin

Job Description

  • Duration: 3 to 6 months, from October 2020
  • Location: Berlin, Germany
  • Internship Tutor: Benedikt Sperling-Zikesch, Managing Director DACH

In collaboration with an internship supervisor, your missions will be:

  • Support of daily internal and external business activities
  • Translation support for the “Field-Services-Team” with technical translations of our products and technology

Preferred Experience

  • Studies as technical editor, technical translator with supplementary subject "Technical Documentation" or mechanical or electrical engineer
  • Preferably knowledge of editorial systems
  • Good knowledge of common text and image editing software (Microsoft Office, MemoQ)
  • High affinity for technology and basic engineering knowledge, as well as enthusiasm for demanding and complex technical contexts
  • Systematic, structured and logical thinking
  • Independent working style, ability to work in a team, above-average commitment, high resilience and time flexibility
  • Very good written and spoken English & German skills

Recruitment Process

  • 30 minutes call with a recruitment officer
  • Meeting with the team, technical tests
  • One hour interview with the tutor and a recruitment officer
