Job Description

EasyMile is a pioneer in driverless technology. Our IT team plays a crucial role in ensuring the resilience, performance, and security of our infrastructure, supporting both internal operations and our autonomous vehicle ecosystem.

We are seeking an autonomous and proactive IT Manager to lead our IT department while ensuring strong operational alignment with Operations, Data, and Build Engineering. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing our IT infrastructure, ensuring its availability, resilience, performance, and cybersecurity. EasyMile IT is hybrid, relying on both on-premise infrastructure (Palo Alto, NetApp, VMware vSphere, Veeam, data center...) and cloud services (Amazon, Google). 

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of successfully managing IT operations and projects transversally.

Responsibilities:

1. IT Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and implement a long-term IT strategic roadmap, aligning technology with business objectives.

  • Drive IT transformation initiatives, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and security.

  • Manage the IT budget, optimize resource allocation, and oversee IT procurement.

2. IT Operations & Infrastructure

  • Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Establish and manage Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCP/DRP) plans.

  • Oversee IT support and maintenance (MCO models, backup management, incident response).

3. Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Define and implement cybersecurity policies, ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIS2, and GDPR.

  • Develop cybersecurity awareness programs for employees.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration & Business Alignment

  • Work closely with Operations, Data, and Engineering teams to ensure IT solutions support business needs.

  • Be responsible for EasyMile's IT Business domain, including mapping application services, infrastructure, and interfaces.  

  • Manage IT interfaces with EasyMile's Software Factory (Build) and Production domains (Cloud & onboard systems), EasyMile partners, the procurement team, and all operational teams.  

5. Tool & System Administration

  • Manage some back-office tools admin configuration, including JIRA (ticketing solution) and Odoo (ERP).

Preferred Experience

Requirements:

  • Mastery of IT project management skills, especially in risk management.  

  • Experience in hybrid IT environments (on-premise and cloud).  

  • Experience in network and system administration.  

  • Proven experience in managing and developing IT teams.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards, including data governance.

  • Fluency in English and French is essential.  

Desirable Skills:

  • Practical experience with internet and network security protocols.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance frameworks.

  • Experience with virtualization and cloud-based technologies.

  • Experience with Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
