Job Description

Position details

  • Contract: permanent full time

  • Location: Toulouse (31), partial remote is possible

Context

The Navigation team ensures our autonomous vehicles are able to follow their mission and interact appropriately with their environment : obstacle collision avoidance, intersections crossing, maneuvers.

The Navigation software is at the core of the autonomous driving software, taking high-level decisions from perception and localization data.

Your future responsibilities

Within the EasyMile R&D Navigation’s team, you will:

  • Design, develop and test new autonomous navigation strategies for challenging navigation scenarios (intersection crossing, multi-lane navigation, complex path planning, etc.)

  • Implement, document and review source code, following established coding standards and best practices

  • Test your developments in simulation, on test benches and on vehicles

  • Maintain and improve our software by analyzing logs and resolving issues from development to production

  • Work in a highly collaborative environment

Preferred Experience

Ideally, you have a Master's or a PhD in robotics, computer science, applied mathematics or any relevant field.

Recruitment Process

  • 30 minutes call with the recruitment team

  • Preliminary online C++ test

  • Meeting with the navigation team and technical interviews

  • One hour interview with the Manager and the Recruitment team

  • 30 minutes with the Engineering Director
