Job Description

Your future responsibilities :

  • Participate in the refactoring of the trajectory following system, in charge of the actuators control command and of the vehicle dynamics (with R&D team)
  • Prototype the control command modules for the drive by wire systems inside the vehicles (Paravan, ...)
  • Participate in the industrialisation of these modules taking into account the safety requirements
  • Tune the control command systems of the vehicles in order to optimise their trajectory following behaviors
  • In charge of the discussions with partners’ technical teams regarding the dynamics behaviors of the vehicles
  • Participate in the simulations design of the vehicles on the tests bench

Responsibilities:

  • System architecture (control command modules integration in EasyMile system, connexion with DBW systems)
  • Mechanical and electrical integration (monitoring and management of the DBW providers integration tasks)
  • Control command developments (DBW communication protocol definition and coding / developments of the control loop modules / collaboration on the refactoring of the trajectory following modules)
  • Test bench and simulation (participation in the vehicles simulation to add dynamic behaviors in the simu)
  • Control tuning on vehicles (adjustments of the control loop algorithms inside the vehicles)

We are looking for:

  • Ability to code in C and C++
  • Communication protocols: Serial, Ethernet, CAN, ...
  • Automation techniques skills (control loop tuning, model predictive control, PID, …)
  • Vehicles dynamics knowledges (traction system, braking, trajectory following…) good oral and written English limited business trip
  • Working knowledge or experience with safety standards for automotive, industrial automation systems
  • Ability to clearly and professionally interact with client/partner teams
